The invasion and subsequent colonization of indigenous populations around the world was often facilitated by a significant imbalance of technology. Joe Red Feather McKnight offers a thought provoking look at how the current world order might be affected if that technological imbalance had been reversed in North America during the 18th century. The result is an inspirational glimpse into how a resource-based society puts humanity more in balance with nature than today's global monetary-based situation. McKnight does a good job of integrating actual historical events with a fictional premise in a short story format that is highly entertaining. I look forward to reading what he comes up with next!
A short story written from the heart.
An enjoyable read.
Joe spun a decent yarn. I thought is was thought provoking. Maybe he will turn it into a longer story down the line.
